Senator Joe Manchin III
Joe Manchin III is seeking a second full term. Donald Trump won West Virginia by over 40 points in 2016. This may explain why Manchin has broken with his fellow Senate Democrats on a number of key votes concerning cabinet nominees and legislation since 2016. He faces a difficult challenge from West Virginia’s Attorney General, Patrick Morrisey. Manchin is one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for reelection this year.
