City Awake’s Our Convention for the Next Generation is the largest convening of next generation leaders in the region. In the fourth year of Our Convention, City Awake will attract 600 emerging leaders to discuss the important issues focused on the region. With a mix of workshops, fireside chats, keynote speakers, and more, City Awake will convene, inspire, and mobilize the next generation of Greater Boston leaders.

City Awake is a program of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce that works to retain and empower the next generation of Greater Boston leaders. Through City Awake, the Chamber connects young professionals across sectors and industries, engages them in finding solutions to the most pressing issues facing our region, deepens their connections to the broader business and civic communities, and recognizes their important contributions to our thriving economy.

    Join the Kennedy Institute and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation for a conversation with youth leaders from Africa and the United States to discuss the realities that young people face in managing their HIV, adapting peer support, and confronting Covid-19 and HIV as these two pandemics impact our communities simultaneously.

    In partnership with the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, the Commonwealth Museum, and the Massachusetts Archives, the Institute will welcome state and local leaders for a conversation on the importance of the 2020 Census.
