Senator Benjamin L. Cardin
Ben Cardin, who is seeking a third term, is the ranking member of the Committee on Small Businesses and Entrepreneurship. In Ben Cardin’s 50-plus year career he has yet to lose an election, and 2018 looks to be no different. Maryland has not voted for a Republican Senator since 1980 nor for a Republican President since 1988. It is hard to imagine any challenger toppling Cardin’s firm hold on his seat.
