On the first Saturday of each month, the Institute offers 1 p.m. drop-in tours. This discussion-based tour with a thematic focus offers deeper insights into the Institute’s exhibits and programs. Tours will lead into the Today’s Vote program where visitors can debate and vote on Senate legislation.

February’s drop-in tour will honor Black History Month and Presidents Day. Join Institute staff as they tour the exhibits through the lens of senators who went on to serve as president, and legislative and cultural changes made by African-American leaders. Then join a special variation of the Today’s Vote program focusing on the Senate’s role in Impeachment.

Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. To join the tour, pick up a sticker at the Admission Desk.

Regular and specialty tours are also available for groups by appointment. If you would like to book a group tour, please fill out our Group Visit Request Form. Please email groupsales@emkinstitute.org for more information.
