Senator Thomas R. Carper
Thomas Carper is seeking a fourth term representing the state of Delaware. Delaware is a Democratic stronghold that, despite Republican gains in recent years at state-level positions, seems to be a shortage of high-profile challengers. Carper has enjoyed broad support from Delawareans from his eight years as governor to his eighteen years as a Senator, and is the ranking member of the Committee on Environment and Public Works.
