The Kennedy Institute proudly partners with the Martin Richard Foundation to serve as the Foundation’s Service Village location for Spring Service Day. This event provides an opportunity for families to participate together in a day of service around the theme “creating a better world for young people.”

Participants will work at the Kennedy Institute and at satellite locations across Dorchester to positively affect youth populations in need of extra support including the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, the Codman Square Branch of the Boston Public Library, and St. Ambrose Family Inn.

The mission of the Martin Richard Foundation – to help young people learn, grow, and lead through volunteerism and community engagement – will be brought to life through several service projects managed and executed by young people, for young people.

For more information and to find out how you can volunteer with your family, please visit the Martin Richard Foundation website.
