First Saturday Drop-in Tours
Saturday, March 7, 2020, 1:00 - 3:00 PM
On the first Saturday of each month, the Institute offers 1 p.m. drop-in tours. This discussion-based tour with a thematic focus offers deeper insights into the Institute’s exhibits and programs. Tours will lead into the Today’s Vote program where visitors can debate and vote on Senate legislation.
March’s Drop-In tour features Irish History in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Join Institute staff as they discuss Irish descended senators and explore Senator Kennedy’s special relationship with Ireland and his family heritage. Then join a special variation of the Today’s Vote program focusing on the Senate’s role in Impeachment.
Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. To join the tour, pick up a sticker at the Admission Desk.
