Campus Compact is a national coalition of over one-thousand colleges and universities committed to the public purposes of higher education. Campus Compact promotes campus-based civic engagement and enables campuses to develop students' citizenship skills.
Campus Compact offers a one-year fellowship, the Newman Civic Fellowship, to recognize and support community-committed students who have demonstrated an investment in finding solutions for challenges facing communities throughout the country. The Edward M. Kennedy Institute and Campus Compact partner to host the annual convening of the Newman Civic Fellows, which takes place at the Institute in Columbia Point, Boston.
