Campus Compact is a national coalition of over one-thousand colleges and universities committed to the public purposes of higher education. Campus Compact promotes campus-based civic engagement and enables campuses to develop students' citizenship skills.
Campus Compact offers a one-year fellowship, the Newman Civic Fellowship, to recognize and support community-committed students who have demonstrated an investment in finding solutions for challenges facing communities throughout the country. The Edward M. Kennedy Institute and Campus Compact have partnered to host a convening of the Newman Civic Fellows at the Institute in Columbia Point, Boston.
