Professional Development Workshops for Teachers
The Institute offers a professional development program in partnership with the University of Massachusetts Boston for middle and high school teachers focusing on U.S. government, history, and participatory democracy. Educators will have the opportunity to participate in a Senate Immersion Module supported by dynamic technology, create curricular resources, converse with policy experts, and deepen their understanding of the legislative process.

Great Senate Debates (Grades 6-12)
Blending live performance with historic film footage and archival images, Great Senate Debates is an inspiring 20-minute program that looks at the context and importance of crucial turning points in Senate history, and reflects on their impact to our lives today.
Future Senator (Grades 3-5)
Students grapple with an issue relevant to kids: whether the US government should require a longer school day.
