Kids and Families
The Kids and Families program at the EMK Institute engages children in learning about the U.S. Senate. Each visitor receives a handheld tablet for use while at the Institute that allows them to learn and participate in cutting-edge interactive activities. In the Institute’s full-scale recreation of the United States Senate Chamber families can participate in voting on legislation of the day.

The Junior Senator program welcomes young visitors to the Institute with a backpack full of books and activities specially created for them.
Count Us In
Count Us In is the Edward M. Kennedy Institute’s family programming series geared towards children ages five and up and their caregivers. The series offers fun, engaging, and meaningful programming and activities to reinforce and make connections to what it means to be an active citizen.
