COVID-19 | Update from the Institute
In response to the continuing coronavirus public health emergency, the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate is closed to the public until early September 2020 in order to protect the public and mitigate community spread of COVID-19.
The Edward M. Kennedy Institute prioritizes the health and safety of the community and recommends that our staff, members, and visitors follow all public health guidelines.
As more information becomes available, the Institute will communicate via this website and social media.

The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, civic education organization in Boston envisioned by the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy. Through a range of exhibits, interactive educational offerings, and topical programs, the Institute engages students and visitors in a conversation about the essential role each person plays in our democracy and in our society.
