The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate (the EMK Institute) is dedicated to educating the public about our government, invigorating public discourse, encouraging participatory democracy, and inspiring the next generation of citizens and leaders. We believe that the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate will be one of the leading organizations working to turn the tide on civic education. Offering a new model for education and outreach, the EMK Institute will invite the American public into the discourse on the challenges facing the nation. Reporting to the Visitor Services Manager, the Admissions Associate is a casual part-time position that is responsible for ensuring a smooth customer experience for visitors to the Institute at the Box Office by selling tickets, facilitating group check-in, accounting for payments to protect revenue, handling all customer service-related issues as they arise, answering the phone, relaying information, and ensuring that all visitors have a safe and enjoyable educational experience that communicates the Institute's mission.
Facilities Maintenance Technician
This position will be reporting to the director of facilities. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform a wide variety of general and skilled maintenance activities for the Institute.
Exhibit and Content Developer
The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Exhibit Content Developer (ECD) to spearhead the creation of engaging, educational, accurate, and accessible facilitated and unfacilitated exhibit-based visitor experiences.

Edward M. Kennedy Institute Education & Visitor Experience Internship
Senator Kennedy believed that each person possesses the power to effect positive change within his or her community. Through this internship program, the Institute aims to further the Senator’s legacy of service by developing a team of passionate and engaged interns to work directly with the Institute’s Education and Visitor Experience team.
