Chief Development Officer
In its third year of operations, the Institute seeks a Chief Development Officer capable of building a fully mature development team to support the organization's urgent and relevant mission.
Associate Director, Annual Fund and Membership
We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Director, Annual Fund & Membership to join the Institute's dynamic and fast-paced development team. The Associate Director is a key member of the team and will be an active participant in the design and implementation of the overall fund-raising strategy of the Institute. She/he/they will be a confident self-starter who proactively seeks new funding and growth opportunities, and serves as a role model for innovative, strategic thinking on a small development team. The Associate Director will demonstrate a passion for the Institute's mission and will steadfastly work to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts and increase membership. Applicants should possess the ability to be creative, flexible, and think outside of the box. Previous annual fund experience and a strong commitment to the mission of the Institute are paramount.
Senate Education Staff
Senate Education Staff report to the Director of Visitor Experience & Program Development, are responsible for assisting in the facilitation of the Senate Immersion Module Program, including semi-scripted role-playing of party whips, expert witnesses, Senate staffers, and others.
Visitor Services Associate
The Institute is seeking outgoing and enthusiastic candidates for a part‐time Visitor Services Associate. This position has a range of functions, including, but not limited to: greeting visitors and groups; explaining and selling admission tickets; providing answers and recommendations about exhibitions and special events; conducting visitor surveys; operating the Gift Shop; and answering phones.

Edward M. Kennedy Institute Education & Visitor Experience Internship
Senator Kennedy believed that each person possesses the power to effect positive change within his or her community. Through this internship program, the Institute aims to further the Senator’s legacy of service by developing a team of passionate and engaged interns to work directly with the Institute’s Education and Visitor Experience team.
